GOVERNMENT NOTIFICATION.

In pursuance of the 22d Section of Ordinance No. 1 of 1852, entitled "An Ordi- "nance for Certain Marriages in the Colony of Hongkong," His Excellency The Governor, with the Advice of the Executive Council, has appointed the following Fees as those to be taken by the Registrars under the abovo Ordinance :-

For receiving each Notice of Marriage,......

In cases in which it shall appear that the Parties are unable to pay the above Fees, it shall be competent, on application being made to him, for the Colonial Secre- tary to direct the remission of some part, but not more than One-half, thereof.
